TREATMENT ADVISEMENTS

Prior To Your Appointment

● Please allow 2 weeks after receiving Botox or dermal fillers before booking your facial.

● If possible, arrive with minimal makeup. Heavy or waterproof mascara can be difficult to remove

and may take time away from your hands-on treatment.

IF RECEIVING DERMAPLANE OR CHEMICAL PEEL

● Schedule waxing 1 week before or after your treatment, depending on skin sensitivity.

● Pause use of retinols, AHAs/BHAs, or other exfoliating acids 1 week prior to your

appointment.

POST-TREATMENT (After your service)

● Skin may feel tight or more sensitive. Keep the treated area moisturized.

■ If receiving enzyme/chemical peel No picking or rubbing—light flaking is normal.

● Avoid acids, AHAs/BHAs, retinols, or exfoliants for 48hrs post-treatment, depending on

skin sensitivity.

■ If receiving enzyme/chemical peel No retinoids, acids, scrubs, brightening agents,

waxing, depilatory creams or laser hair removal for 14 days.

● Avoid heavy sweating, heat and steam (hot showers, saunas, etc.) for 24–48 hours.

● Avoid chlorine and direct sunlight for 3–5 days.

● Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply as directed; wear a hat when

outdoors.

Before Your Appointment

● Tell us if you are pregnant, nursing, have active skin infections/lesions, cold sores,

eczema, or are taking photosensitizing medications. We may need to reschedule to

protect your skin.

● Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds - we will not microneedle sunburned skin

● Arrive with minimal makeup. There may be an additional charge to remove heavy or

waterproof mascara..

● Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and ibuprofen 24 hours before your appointment to reduce risk of

bruising or sensitivity.

● Note: You may be more sensitive if you are menstruating or take prescription antidepressants.

Please consult your doctor if needed.

● Wait at least 6 months after stopping Accutane (isotretinoin) or other oral retinoids before

undergoing microneedling.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

A doctor’s note is required prior to treatment if you have any of the following conditions:

- Kidney disease/Liver disease or jaundice

- Autoimmune disorder

- Cancer within the past 2 years

- Diabetes

- Epilepsy or seizure disorders

- Heart conditions or High BP

- Eye surgery

- History of stroke

POST-TREATMENT (After your service)

First 4-6 Hours (Immediately After Treatment):

● Stay hydrated

● Do not touch, wash, or wipe your face.

● Do not apply any creams, SPF, or makeup.

● Stay cool and indoors. Avoid sun, sweat, steam, and heat.

● Avoid pets, phones, pillows, or anything touching your face.

6+ Hours Later (or Next Morning):

● Gently rinse with cool or lukewarm water only. No cleanser.

● Apply your sterile post-care serum (growth factors or peptides).

● Apply a thin layer of the barrier cream provided in your kit.

● Do not use any actives (retinol, vitamin C, acids).

● Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply as directed; wear a hat when outdoors.

● Sleep on a clean pillowcase.

Day 1–3: Healing in Progress:

● Continue using serum and occlusive morning and night

● Avoid acids, AHAs/BHAs, retinols, or exfoliants for 48hrs post-treatment

● Avoid direct sunlight, heavy sweating, and heat (hot showers, saunas, etc.) for 48 hours

● Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and reapply as directed; wear a hat when outdoors

● Mild flaking or dryness is normal - apply occlusive as needed and stay hydrated

Day 3+:

Continue with your normal skincare regimen

Contraindications – Please do not schedule a microcurrent treatment if you:

● Have a pacemaker or implanted electrical device

● Have a heart condition

● Have a history of epilepsy or seizures

● Are undergoing cancer treatment

● Are currently pregnant

● Have uncontrolled diabetes or nerve-related complications

● Have had recent facial surgery (within 3–6 months, depending on your surgeon’s

guidance)

● Have metal plates or surgical implants in the skull or facial area

Before Your Appointment

● Wait at least 2 weeks after receiving Botox or dermal fillers before booking this service.

● Remove all jewelry and facial piercings before your treatment.

● Hydrate well 24 hours before your appointment 

After Your Appointment

● Avoid caffeine and alcohol.

● Continue drinking plenty of water—hydration improves muscle tone and treatment

effectiveness.

● Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to protect and maintain your results.
